TAILGATE for Akron's last home game!!

Recommended Posts

I've never tailgated an Akron game before. You can drink in the parking lot?

yes!

I'll be there too!

guys, guys guys. We beat Northwestern, we beat SMU, UAB could easily lose their round of 32 game and we are back at the pouch for the sweet 16! This doesn't have to be the last game here this year.

You're correct, but lets take it one game at a time.

Cool video...thanks. One question came to mind whil watching it. How mny MAC schools play soccer on their football feild?? Buffalo for sure....any others?? If the MAC wants to elevate it's stature....soccer only stadiums would be a must IMO.

EDIT:

Soccer only stadiums - Akron, BGSU, FAU, W. Michigan

Football Stadium - Buffalo

Track stadium - N. Illinois, Hartwick

Another great video. We have a better marketing department than I was led to believe.. Good job.

Ooooh, that video is indeed sweet. But, as far as "marketing" goes, who's going to see it unless they visit GoZips.com or search for it on youtube? Wonder if they're purchasing a few televised ads? We've got to place those videos in places where others, besides diehard Zips fans, will see them.

Good point. I wonder if there is a wider distribution than just GoZips.com The videos are well done and should be linked on many sites.

I didn't find this video on youtube or gozips.com. It was on facebook and twitter. I found it through twitter which I retweeted to my 500+ followers.

Ahhh. They're going facebook & twitter. Doesn't cost a dime & will probably reach more ppl in our target market than going with channels 3, 5 & 8 (old folks). But, yeah, I'm starting to show my age in not automatically thinking of facebook or twitter. Anymore, those outlets should be my first assumptions.

The last time I watched either channel 3, 5, or 8 news was when the Zips won the National Championship. I wanted to see if they caught me celebrating at the Barley House. Ratings for news stations aren't high for 18-30 year olds. I'm 27. Those news stations are for people that don't have internet.

You should've been standing next to this ugly mug here. :D Front of the Beacon Journal Sports section and the 11 o'clock news. My 3 seconds of fame. Thank you Zips! haha
