Blue & Gold
No live internet feed. Naturally. Who would have expected anything more?

akronzips71
The feed sucks. It is in and out constantly.
akzipper
The feed sucks. It is in and out constantly. I think it's our offense that sucks right now...you're not missing anything!!
gozips22
We are getting killed on the boards right now. If that's the only thing we change coming out of the half, we win easily.
Gcc
The feed sucks. It is in and out constantly. The feed is awful tonight.
Blue & Gold
The feed is awful tonight. It does. I'm missing large chunks of the game. I did get to see Abreu's 3, so that was nice.
gozips22
Well, I did see Serb's 3 point attempt. All though I wish the feed was out at that time.

Blue & Gold
And why, O why, can't they remember to turn the volume back on coming out of time outs? Such a basic task.
jjackson123
Nothing much to say, happy with the play. Is Deji still hurt? I don't understand why he doesnt get any minutes in a game like this. I feel like in a pinch, Oldham and Deji could provide some useful minutes in an important game so I am frustrated he doesn't get any experience. Maybe the coaching staff did not like what they say those first 5-6 gamesand decided he is absolutely not ready this year? Dissapointed Luke didn't score... Anyone know where he came from? Former manager? Maybehe tried out as a walk on in the summer and was cut but the coaching staff kept his name in case one of the players transferred. Actually I think I just asked my own question. Dave in Green
Zips were trying some new stuff tonight, and it wasn't all going smoothly. For example, they pressed more than I can recall them doing in quite awhile, and had mixed results. It's always a good idea to try new tactics against a weaker team that you figure to beat anyway. I think with a little practice that the Zips' press could be pretty effective. My wife, who's not a big sports fan, goes to one game a year with me. After hearing me rave about all the great players that the Zips have, she gave me the old skeptical eye at halftime. I told her not to worry, that the Zips would blow out NIU in the second half. After I said that, I thought about previous Zips team where a first half like tonight would have me concerned that the Zips might fall apart in the second half. Not this team. RowdyZip
In the "ouch" category...a 24 point win at home drops the Zips 10 spots in RPI and 29 points in SOS to 60 and 120 respectively.
Dave in Green
Part of the RPI drop for the Zips was due to losses by other teams the Zips have played such as Mississippi State, West Virginia, etc. Makes the Oral Roberts draw in BracketBusters even more fortunate, with ORU's RPI still hanging in the 40s while some of the others teams the Zips might have drawn have been falling in RPI. I would love to see him get in the book for one of these games.
