Sergeant Zip
The announcers are barely even commenting on it. I thought that was odd too. Like the "no comment" is the admission that it was a bad call.
schiri
Agreed. It's when the ball is played. Wasn't even close to being OS
fknbuflobo
I will be happy with the point. Creighton are a quality side, with a lot of class, and a fantastic stadium.
MDZip
Absolutely f***** stolen. That blew. Hard enough to win on the road against a good team without adding a terrible call on top of it. Zips dominated both overtimes. They deserved better. a-zip
Wasn't even close to being OS They just showed highlight shots and didnt show our gamewinning goal
bmaker
Wasn't even close to being OS Announcers gushing all the time about how well Akron is playing, controlling the ball, winning the 50-50's, etc. Only problem is they can't seem to put the ball into the back of the net (I mean except for the one that was called back). meatwad
Fantastic effort by the boys tonight. They were absolutely hosed on that offsides call. They were the better side on the road in a hostile environment against a quality opponent. I have a good feeling about this team the rest of the season. Valpo Zip
Although a tie in the NCAA books, that was a win in mine. If you see at what point in time that lineman raised his flag to steal our golden goal, you know it was not a bad call, but a horrible one. Anyways, this team reminds me of the 2009 and 2010 teams. This is a national championship team in the making and Caleb wants to make his last year worthwhile. meatwad
Thank you!!! I was trying to do this myself, but only one replay made the cut. That should be shared multiple times over. Horrendous.
fknbuflobo
Bloody hell! That is even worse than I originally thought.
jem101
AS disappointing as it was to draw when we deserved to win, I'm coming out of this one on the positive side. It calmed any doubts I had about this team not being focused due to the Porter thing. This was the one game that would have been affected the most and the Zips played really well. GoZips88
Any Blue Jay fans want to chime in? No? Didn't think so. Creighton has a very good team and an absolutely gorgeous facility. Bummer we got screwed tonight. LOVE what I saw out there. Controlled both OTs and quite a bit of regulation. Creighton's goal was a clean-up of sorts off of a deflection and that's just the way the soccer ball bounces. Beautiful cross by Yedlin and a great redirect header from a tough angle by Koroma. Great effort tonight ZIPS!!!! Very much looking forward to the rest of the season. NO LET-DOWN SUNDAY!!!
ZippyRulz
How about 1 point per shot-on-goal and 3 points per actual goal? Maybe that would help the scoring situation that holds soccer back.

ZippyRulz
this is a troll post right No, I'm serious. Soccer could really take off if fans could watch 1.5+ hours of soccer between 2 top-notch teams and not come away feeling like they wasted their time. I only respond because you claim to be serious. You are seemingly oblivious to the world around you. International Football "took off" around 1840 A.D. Some suggest an even earlier date of origin. Soccer is currently the most popular social phenomenon on the planet, possibly in human history. Soccer does not need fixing! It is amazingly successful as is. There are long-standing traditions in Soccer that will not suffer capricious tampering. Billions already love Soccer. No one is recruiting you to join them. If something needs changing, make no mistake, it is you. You speak of wasting time. Stop wasting your time by watching, and stop wasting my time with your inane postings.
