ZippyRulz
Anyone got a inside scoop on a video feed for the game? Radio at the least? ESPN3. 1350 AM.
g-mann17
Very interesting temperature/dew point debate going on, but you are both ignoring the importance of barometric pressure on the outcome of the contest. Well with a tropical depression sitting in the gulf, it is likely to be low.

ZippyRulz
Well with a tropical depression sitting in the gulf, it is likely to be low. I think that works against us. With low barometric pressure, the air pressure inside the ball will be higher relative to the outside pressure, making the ball a bit bigger and harder. That will make it a little tougher to catch and kick (with accuracy), things we had some trouble with in game 1.

Moot point, a larger ball is harder to hold on to, meaning a higher propensity to fumble, something FIU had troubles with in game 1. On a serisou note, it is supposed to be wet tomorrow, and both teams are spread/pass oriented. Rain makes the field slower, just wondering how that will play out for both of these teams. Sergeant Zip
George's articleUA looks for its first road win tonight since a 42-35 victory at Eastern Michigan on Oct. 18, 2008 Dreadful stat That wasn't the Andre Jones return, was it? I know that was a directional Michigan school.

I know that was a directional Michigan school. The Andre Jones return was in Kalamazoo against Western Michigan (2007?). I believe the EMU game from 2008 cited here is the one where the Eag-rons blocked a UA FG late in the game, but our holder (and punter, but can't think of his name right now) picked off the deflected ball and ran for a key 1st down. Zipsrifle
This may be the longest thread in the history of the internet on Akron Weather.....
LZIp
Watching UCF go toe-to-toe with OSU, Im not feeling as bad about the loss to UCF last week. I think Akron makes it a respectable loss.

Zipgrad01
Yeah, OSU has been playing like they are dis-interested for a majority of this game. Still....impressed with how physical of a team UCF is for a CUSA team. Don't know why, but I am having a good feeling about the game tonight. I think we shore up a lot of issues that plagued us last week.

akzipper
15 points and the ball isnt getting destroyed. The game isnt over. It was over, but at least Penn State lost again. To Virginia of all teams...but yeah OhioU does deserve a BCS game now.

akzipper
not sure your point. I dont care about Ohio or Penn State Sorry. I only replied to your post because I didn't think UCF had a chance to come back. I brought up Penn State because of all the OhioU fans that have been saying BCS ever since the win. A PSU loss again shows how bad their team is this year, and that beating them really means nothing.
akzipper
Out defense is flat out terrible. 7-0 after two of the same exact plays.

He has thrown down the gauntlet at RB. Chisholm won't be playing much unless he learns how to run. Some of the WR's will be looking for more PT also if they don't step up in the next couple of weeks. The LB's and DL's are going to be a revolving door until they can stop the run.

TB has got some key positions he can't trust. RB,WR,LB yet. The D is going to be weak all season. But,if QB continues to improve and he can find a RB who will run N/S and can catch they can get into some shootouts in the MAC and sneak up on some folks. Sorry,tonight...
