It sure felt like that a few times in the 2010-2011 seasons! On another front, the line jumped 2.5 points today (to 16.5). I wonder why? Because too many people are betting on NIU regardless of the spread. Possibly a feeding frenzy going on in favor of NIU. Sucker bet taking the favorite on this one? I feel a blowout coming...Running out of bodies against these top notch MAC teams has to give at somepoint...right? Hope I am dead wrong. If I look back at Miami, BG, and OU, I think we continue to play a better team each week. And I think NIU might be at the top of the heap. I think it's about time to move on from Williams. He hasn't really put up good numbers since the huge game against Miami. A lot of the throws seem to be way off. Well, anything can happen on any given day. But if you use our games against both teams, this would not be a competitive game. NIU just squashed us at home, and we were a mishandled onside kick away from possibly beating OU on the road. I'd maybe need to see more of both teams as the season comes to a close, but I would predict an NIU blowout over OU if that game was held today.
