Eller, a Clevelander from Willowick, Ohio is no stranger to the game. He started his career at the University of Akron graduating in 1998. After graduation, Eller turned professional by signing with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and in the fall of 1999 he moved indoors and signed with the Cleveland Crunch of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) where he would meet current Cleveland Freeze Head Coach Hector Marinaro. Was anyone else impressed by DeAndre Yedlin's assist last night to Eddie Johnson? That was a nearly perfect cross, albeit in a losing effort. What a monster rookie season for the the kid! Quote
