bUAkronG
NIU has already surpassed their horrific output in their last game and leads the Golden Flushes by 7 at the half. And the line was Can't -
originalrowdy
I love it. You know, this gets me thinking - does anyone know our winning percentage against the MAC West over the last few years? I'm thinking it's got to at least be over .750, even including postseason. I don't think we've lost any more than 2 in a season within the last 3 or 4 years.
bUAkronG
and NIU wins their 5th game of the season with a fadeaway jumper from about 18 feet. 67-
bigzipguy
With about 2 1/2 minutes left, down by 8, Can't St comes back to tie it at 65. Then N. Ill hits the game winner with 2.2 seconds left to win it.

zippy5
If it wasn't apparent before, this is definitely a two horse race. Stinks that everyone else is terrible, but it makes for two gigantic games.
jeaglet1
If it wasn't apparent before, this is definitely a two horse race. Stinks that everyone else is terrible, but it makes for two gigantic games. A 16-0 and 14-2 team (or two 15-1 teams) should make for a great championship game atmosphere, if everything plays out that way. Still a long way to go. With WMU already being done with Akron and Ohio, wonder if they could somehow slide into the second double bye should one team stumble unexpectedly. Going back through 05-06', a .785 winning percentage. #domination #gozips #wouldn'tlosetoNIU Ironically, we've actually had some trouble with NIU in the recent past. In fact, I remember a few years ago, a terrible NIU team broke a Zips' JAR winning streak which was almost ready to go on two years running. Valpo Zip
Remember when KD used to say about Can't State: "That is the team we are trying to become, we are trying to model our team to be like them" ?
originalrowdy
Remember when KD used to say about Can't State: "That is the team we are trying to become, we are trying to model our team to be like them" ? I do. Ah how the seasons change. Though to be fair, I believe he was getting at the concept of "sustained winning." He didn't exactly word it the way I'd prefer.
