GP1
If the Biblical Moses was that big, God wouldn't have had to take him to the top of Mt. Pisgah to see the promised land. He could have just pointed in the general direction.
legendofzippy
George Thomas feature on Moses McCray The more I read about this guy the more excited I am to watch him play. A big-time DL can really change the entire game. If he can be disruptive we could make a little noise in the MAC after all. Michigan has had some great OL classes recently so that could be a great indicator.
Dr Z
Michigan has had some great OL classes recently so that could be a great indicator. It will come quicker than that. Biggest question for Moses will be if he can stay healthy. Despite replacing two starters, this unit should be one of UCF’s most solid in the fall. With Wilson holding down the left tackle and two of its most experienced leaders on the inside in twins Justin and Jordan McCray at left and right guard, UCF should be able to consistently protect Bortles in an offense that will look to air it out more this season. The McCrays will help ease the transition at center for likely starter Joey Grant, who ran with the ones almost all the way through camp and is the outright leader to trot out into the huddle on Thursday night against Akron. Grant has been consistently in the film room studying, and his close relationship with Bortles should help chemistry there as well. Players said they saw Grant get a better understanding of protection calls and recognition, but having two of the team’s most experienced starters on each side will keep any issues at bay. The key is just continuing this summer to pick up the timing of snapping the ball and blocking the player lined up in the gap on either side of him. ZachTheZip
An alternative possibility for the transfer from Pitt. We recruited him out of junior college. Might be able to play immediately, as a grad student. I can go ahead and confirm that the NCAA has granted Zenel Demhasaj a 6th year of eligibility, and he will play for the Zips this year. Needs to go through the acclimation period, but that's another piece of added size, depth, and talent to the offensive line.

I was obviously wrong in my speculation about Virbitsky. All I can say is (for those of us who were at the football outing) Virbitsky sounds alot more Polish than Demhasaj. Certainly glad to see another experienced O-linemen coming aboard though. Welcome, Zenel!
