akzipper
Honestly, what if we just let them score on the kick returns? Then we won't even have to waste time playing defense..

akzipper
Akron WINS! Talk about getting lucky! Couldn't tell by the feed, but didn't JMU get the first down? Meaning the clock should have stopped?

MDZip
JMU is a lot better than some people gave them credit for. The top of FCS and bottom of FBS aren't that far apart. Yeah a little luck but the offense played pretty well and a win is a win and those have been damn hard to come by. JMU is no slouch but it does make me happy to shut up all their fans that claimed they should win "easily" (and that we didn't pay them $300K to come and beat us at our house). JZ84, close prediction.
AKSportsFan
We got lucky because we played so poorly. We have to play better in every aspect (except punting) to win moving forward. We got the W and thank goodness it could have gone the other way really easy. Their coach wasn't making a smart decision taking their last timeout so early. Buckzip
A win is a win is a win. Be very afraid for next week though.
ZippyforPresident
Win little... Maybe this is where Akron plants its foot in the ground and starts to change direction. Hopefully either Pohl or Hirschman are healthy enough to go against Michigan next week... I will be taking the road trip. Go Zips.
ksu sucks
A win is a win! I'm not sure how many games we can win this season but this team showed heart tonight. You can tell they are buying what Bowden is selling. I think we will grab a couple more W's before the season is over. Go zips!
ZippyRulz
EA suggests if things don't go well for Pohl tomorrow, he could lose his starting job That was some drama tonight. Pohl comes out and struggles, Hirschman comes in and gets us back in the game. Hirschman gets hurt and Pohl gets another chance...and capitalizes. We may have a QB controversy for the rest of the season...depending on Hirschman's status. I had no sound thru-out the game...did they say anything about NH15's injury?
