TennZip Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 West Virginia lost 3-0 Friday night to Georgetown Georgetown lost 1-0 last night to New Mexico (which makes VCU's 1-1 with New Mexico even more impressive) VCU is going to be super tough... Quote
fknbuflobo Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 So Indiana, the #1 team in the nation, gives up 5 goals? At home? Overrated? I hesitate to call the defending champions overrated; I’d say they are underachieving right now. You will never catch me shedding tears for Hoosiers. We are still working on our second star whilst they have eight. But I can tell you of an opponent who is underrated. That would be VCU, who we have upcoming in the home opener. Zips had best be sharp or they will suffer defeat, and that card has already been played for the season. MAC teams cannot lose two and expect a high seeding come tourney time. As fates would have it, Friday's match will weigh heavily on many teams' RPI rating toward season’s end. Be there! Quote
MDZip Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Zips drop to #7. Indiana has gone from preseason #1 to out of the rankings so it could be a lot worse. St. Johns is up to #12 by beating us, Maryland is now #18 and VCU has risen to #19. That would be viewed as a good win Friday. Quote
