Fortunately, we do NOT have to play the Cocks for a third time in two years. Akron takes on the Trojans, under second year head coach Andy Enfield -- he of one-hit-wonder Florida Gulf Coast fame. Looks like the winner takes on the winner of Miami (Fl) vs Drexel in second round.

The PSU game is part of the Charleston Classic Tournament that's advertised as a "non-bracketed game" because it's being played at PSU instead of in Charleston.

I am going on the team sponsored trip for the three games in Charleston but skipping the PSU game in State College on November 25th. Zip's football at Can't is the same night. If you are traveling to the NDST game on Tuesday, December 16th you may want to get your airline ticket early. The Fargo airport is only served by commuter jets. Current prices by the major carriers are still cheap because less than 20% of the seats have been sold so far.

Fargo is lovely in December and January and March, but the spring floods are always a highlight.

I admit a lot of people don't notice the difference, and maybe it's just because the month is so darn short, but to me February in Fargo just doesn't measure up to the others.
