Michigan currently has a 2-5-2 record and they are 1-1-2 in the Big Ten.

Tonight, Michigan is hosting #6 Notre Dame

at halftime....Michigan leads 2-0

Michigan has really had an up and down year.

They tied Maryland 1-1 and they tied Northwestern 0-0

they lost 1-0 to Bowling Green and they lost 1-0 in OT to Western Michigan

Bowling Green on the road will be challenging....and Michigan looks like they can play with anyone

Notre Dame came back to tie it at 2-2 around the 73 minute mark

Michigan did not cave and scored a 3rd goal at 82;45...and won 3-2

in other scores of other interest...Bowling Green scored in OT to win 1-0 at Cleveland State

at 84 minute mark, Indiana leads Louisville 3-0

Perhaps.

While it is not a scenario that I would promote, it is possible to win the MAC Tournament without hosting it.

EDIT: BGSU is about 140 miles from Akron. Is anyone going? Unfortunately, I cannot this year as I have a family commitment that evening. I sure was happy to be there in 2010 rather than watching iCoach kick off at the beginning of both halves and go on to lose to FCS powerhouse Gardner Webb.

I have to agree with BufLobo. Bowling Green is 9-2 and they have a win over Michigan. The Bowling Green match is probably the most significant MAC match in many years.

Won't make it Saturday.

But I remember the 2010 match well. It was the Perry Kitchen show; he controlled everything in the middle. I remember shouting "Kitchen's ball" every BG punt or goal kick.

You have a more accurate calculator, Zach. But 14 in 10 is still not good enough. Championship squads score 1.5 goals per match.

Zips will definitely have to score some goals on Tuesday night. Michigan really had a good week scoring goals. They defeated Rutgers tonight 3-0 and earlier this week...Michigan defeated Notre Dame 3-2.
