akronzips71 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Pohl needs to come in an energize the offense. Quote
mes102 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Pohl would have executed that throw Quote
Buckzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Losing a lot of respect for Bowden 1 Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 This is pitiful. Outcoached, outhustled, outsmarted 1 Quote
mes102 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 They had no problem switching Pohl for Woodson and then switch back to Pohl, but you won't give Pohl a chance? Yeah, that's great locker room dynamics SMH. This team is looking for a spark. That could be it. If the coaching staff isn't motivated to win every down, quarter, half, and game, then why should the players?!?!?!?!?!?!??! Quote
akronzips71 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 I can't watch any more.THAT block was caused by Woodson throwing for the fences twice with horrible throws. This is BS Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 If someone posted "Fire Bowden" I don't know if i'd disagree at this exact moment. Quote
zipsfan13 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 This team flat out sucks right now. It's amazing how much they've regressed over the past few weeks. Quote
Buckzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 We have no reason to worry about Bowden leaving. This is a disgrace. Quote
akronzips71 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 STILL Woodson.GET HIM OUT OF THERE. Quote
akronzips71 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Another 3 and out about to happen Quote
akronzips71 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 AND ANOTHER INTERCEPTIONI HAVE A CRYSTAL BALLIF ONLY I COULD KNOW THE WINNING LOTTO NUMBERS Quote
mes102 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 In my opinion, I want to see Milwee fired and see how the team looks then for a season. IF it's not better after that season, then I might be persuade to jump off the Bowden bandwagon. Just can't get it out of my head that he'll bench Pohl for Woodson in the Pittsburgh game, go back to Pohl, but won't do that in a game that means more in terms of this season with Woodson being benched. We all know now who Bowden prefers at QB.... Quote
Buckzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Pohl must have really done something to tick off Bowden. Either that or Bowden is throwing the season hoping for a high draft pick. Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 One of the worst QB performances in Akron history. Embarrassing normally, but far worse when we have a better veteran QB healthy on the bench. Quote
ZippyRulz Posted October 25, 2014 Author Report Posted October 25, 2014 No bowl for you, Zips. BG will be favored by 20. Quote
Jrship35 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 I would have to ask that the Woodson project stop NOW please 2 Quote
tomzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 I was torn a new one last week for ranting, hmmm not alone now I guess. 6-6 was my guess at best, let's hope they can turn it around. I am out of town and just caught the score, Woodson doing well again? Quote
Buckzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 This team has completely reverted back to Ianello.Just when it seemed this team gave us something to get excited about, they lose to 2 straight crappy teams. 1 Quote
Lee Adams Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Now that the euphoria of pretty much meaningless games in September has long since passed, reality sets in. My ,hope, for 6-6 was obviously far too optimistic. Last year this program sneaked up on a couple of teams. Not this year. The warts of the coaches(especially) and the personnel are being exposed. Losses like this can't be blamed on personnel. These lay squarely on decision making by the coaching staff. Its that cliche phrase of coaches are hired to put players in the best position to perform at the highest of their capabilities. The last two weeks show that isn't happening yet. Curious. Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 So the prevailing theory here remains that Pohl is 100% healthy and Coach Bowden wouldn't sub him in to save the game just because he's a stubborn and misguided coach? Maybe we'll get a more accurate assessment of what's really going on when the media grills him on this subject, as they surely will after this massive second-half collapse. 2 Quote
Lee Adams Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Coaching staff being stubborn. They kept Stein on the sideline, and look how that hurt us early on in the Penn State game. Now Pohl is being kept on the sideline, while we blow another winnable game. Some strange decision making by Bowden and his staff. Quote
Buckzip Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Do you really think the media will grill him?He will give stupid coach speak and it will be accepted. SMH Quote
