GP1
If weather is going to be a factor, it will be critical to get an early lead and force BG to be one dimensional late. Hope they poop pants late. First team to score sets the pace and wins.
ZachTheZip
BG has no defense at all. Jump out early and they won't be able to come back unless we turn the ball over.
johnnyzip84
I wish I could say I was completely unconcerned about the defense, but both QB James Knapke and RB Travis Greene are definitely capable of doing damage. Knapke seems to be dinged a little and I think the Zips will be able to get pressure on him. I’m a little more concerned about Greene at this point, because he had over 200 combined yards against UA last year and the Zips had some trouble stopping Ball State’s RB Edwards last game.On the other hand, BGSU’s defense has not been very good. If the Zips limit the turnovers, I see a few more big plays than we’ve been accustomed to lately.Zips 31Falcons 27

skip-zip
If we would have won one or both of the last two games, this game wouldn't be as huge as it now. With BG being at one loss in conference play, I don't think we could have survived a head-to-head loss against them, regardless of what we did the last 2 weeks. skip-zip
Here's my game thoughts....Although the atmosphere will be dampened, the weather will play into our hands. Windy and rainy is the perfect recipe. With our defense, I think we can win a game where we can't throw the football. BG can't.
K92
I tried on my blackout outfit last night and I was all proud of myself but then my wife asked me if I was going to the game as a member of ISIS. I was going for cat burglar.

GP1
We will be cheering the Zips on from the Dirty South !!!!Me too.The luckiest woman in the world, Mrs. GP1, recently bought a 66" Samsung Curve with a new receiver, surround sound, some device that allows us to play video off of the internet through our Apple devices, etc. Not sure how much it cost and it's probably best that way....(Sort of like our last trip to Vegas when we stayed at the Wynn. While I was at a convention, she did a little day drinking at the pool, saw a purse she wanted in the window of one of the shops on the way back to the room and said to herself, "I'm buying that". I'm not allowed to know how much the purse cost.)...Anyhow, whatever the cost was, I will be watching the game on it.
zippy_ua_00
Heres my take on pohl from people inside the program. The coaches think pohl sucks. Plain and simple. They dont like him and they think playing woodson will be better in the long run.

LZIp
Of course Pohl will be blamed but it was LT's fault. You dont cut your route off short when you have the guy beat deep.

LZIp
Are any of our WRs D1 caliber? Catching a ball in a light rain is slightly more difficult but nowhere near almost impossible.

LosAngelesZipFan
Love that little stacked backfield run play-- let's see more of that. In fact, let's see more running period. Why, if the coaches don't like Pohl, do they keep throwing the ball? (BTW, Pohl has thrown really well so far-- drops are killing us). I just don't understand why we aren't running more. Where is Hundley???
