SVSM Alumni Jerry Williams to Join Brother at UA

Coach Jerry Williams from SVSM tweeted that his son, Jerry is transferring from WVSU to join his brother at UA.

His brother signed a NLOI to play basketball for the Zips. Jerry is 6‘ 4" OL.

He will have to sit out a year. Looks like he originally signed with Ohio U.

He would have to sit out for a year due to being on the WVSU 2014 roster. Not sure what happened with the OU commitment.

Anyone else notice the amount of offers being out to OL players? I like the focus.

Nope, nothing to be excited about. I see it (and I'm sure the coaches do) that we have some extra scholly's and its worth it if he ends up being able to contribute. Plus anything we can do to strengthen the SVSM pipeline..

I wouldn't assume because he is transferring he is getting a scholarship.

The Williams family are huge Zips fans. I would expect little brother John to join the Zips basketball team after he graduates from StVM .

Jerry didn't go to St V, Josh has been there for like two years.....not exactly like the Williams family goes way back with St V.
