New Uniforms

I'm surprised nobody picked up on it yet. Any thoughts on the new away uniforms (tops)? I thought they looked better than the past.

The sleeves are no longer blue, they're white. The shoulder stripes are still there, and the gold panals downthe sides are gone. I thought they looked really good, would rather not see the blue pants again though.

i'm superstitious but they wore blue pants twice last year. once with white jerseys and got throttled by miami, and once with blue jerseys during that low point of the season, the army game. i'd be happy to never see blue pants again.

No way keep the blue pants and lose the superstitions!! Those blue pants look sweet!! I get tired of seeing the same colored pants all the time, if you are that worried about it what about white pants?!

I actually really liked the blue sleeves/gold pants look. I'm not a big fan of changing uniforms every year. Let's find something that looks classic and good and stick with it. Blue pants are fine once in a while.

i'm just the opposite. i like having the slickest, newest looking uniforms out there. although i think when it comes to like say, oregon, that's a little over the top. of course if the creator of nike was an akron alum i think we'd be doing close to the same thing. overall the look is too much like last year's for me to really care about. as long as we win!

I also noticed they did away with the "95 Patriots" look for the uni tops= there used to be a back & forth white striping throughout the Zips away jersey, similar to the Patriots blue striping on home jerseys. Another suttle change, but definitely one that is more classic.
