Charlie, Charlie!!

Final Stats:C. Frye, 21/33 298 Yards 1 TD Passing 1 TD Rushing 1 INT 7 SACKS 90.2 QB RatingI guess I jinxed him with my earlier post... That INT in the endzone hurt. Frye couldn't help that the O-Line could not stop Bart Scott as he threw and was picked or that the D gives up a winning drive that covered 47 yards in 12 plays or he had no run support or that the officals couldn't see a WR stepping out of bounds and coming back in for a catch (although Stover still would have made that kick) or ...

with at least 3 knocked down passes and countless hurries. without charlie, the browns are totally lost. way to go charlie, makes me proud to be a zip.
I agree. The Browns would have no offense without Charlie. How sweet it would be if they had an O-line!Charlie's the man!

I was at the Browns stadium in Cleveland... I am not sure if it was heard over the TV or not but the crowds chanted " Charlie, charlie" more than once. Granted some people were mildly upset with him throwing the interception in the end but overall, everyone knows that he is the future of this franchise.Generally speaking, it is impressive to see how many rookies and sophomores are playmakers and already making impact on this team. Crennel/Savage know talent.

If Charlie can stay alive, he'll be a better Qb down the road because of all the adversity he's facing right now. He's hit on virtually every pass play. I actually find it hard to watch because I find myself rooting for him more than I root for the Browns. Funny, because I've always been a Browns' fan. Just keep moving , Charlie, a moving target is harder to hit.

Recently I heard one of Cleveland radio's esteemed talking butts, er, heads, espousethe idea of "think how great the Brown's would be if "we" could get Troy Smith and TedGinn in the next draft." What a maroon. How can anyone in Brown's Town not respect and love Charlie Frye? Have the Brownshad a QB since Otto Graham leave it all out on the field? Not Kosar, not Sipe, not anyQB since the great hall of fame Otto Graham have the Browns had a QB with this moxie, guts, smarts, toughness.Charlie is some team's ticket to a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, its not likely to be theBrowns. They are just too inbred to recognize greatness. Charlie does not have that"big" school label. i.e. Ohio State, Michigan, Southern Cal, ND, etc. < insert pukeemoticon here>Charlie you have already demonstrated to those with a brain that you are the QB fit totake the lowly Browns to the Super Bowl. No criticism of Charlie in any manner is valid. The touchdown pass to his kindred spirit Braylon Edwards answered the "arm" controversy for once and always. Weak arm? What weak arm? Stick it, pukes.BTW ... I would love to get Ted Ginn in the next draft. What an addition to the Browns secondary.

WOW! Kosar didn't give the Browns all he had? He wasn't smart? He didn't have guts? Amazing that you even think that way. When Kosar was playing for the Browns, he was one of the best QBs in the game and he was feared by most teams. Nothing against Frye, but Kosar won. Frye now has a 2-6 career record as a starter in the NFL. With the exception of yesterday's first half, Charlie has been at best average in the NFL. There are only two or three teams where Frye could start, and the Browns are one of them. Kosar could have started on 80% of the teams when he played. It's OK to use names like Sipe and Kosar in the same sentence as Otto Graham. That's about it.
