TennZip
http://www.idsnews.com/article/2016/11/iu-mens-soccer-to-host-akron-in-ncaa-tournament The Zips started the season in the top 10 but have since fallen out of the rankings altogether. If there is anything to relate the two sides, it is that IU senior Phil Fives spent two seasons in Akron playing for the Zips. “I’m super excited,” Fives said on the chance to play his former team. “They’re a great program — a lot of good talent there. We were actually talking before the selection that it might end up like this. This is a great opportunity to show the nation what we got and step up.”

TennZip
http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/mens-ncaa-tournament:-second-round-preview_aid41028 I think that top drawer soccer writer J.R. Esklison predicted a 2-0 win for the zips in the first round. In the link above, the same writer makes his choices for the 16 games on Sunday.

Spin
Holy crap. I practiced on better fields with my Division 5 high school football team. In the 80's. I thought Indiana was a soccer power, they can't even grow grass.
The Hip Zip
Field looks awful, like they are playing in a parking lot with a little grass growing in the cracks. Ha, posted the same thought at the same time as Spin Edited November 20, 2016 by The Hip Zip

Z.I.P.
Come on Akron! We didn't get up at 6 a.m. to fail to beat the Who-sers! Let's get that first one on the board this half.
Blue & Gold
Just able to tune in & what the heck?! Are they playing on a dirt field?! How bush league! Edit: I see I'm not the first to observe the field's less than desirable condition. Lol Edited November 20, 2016 by Blue & Gold

Lol That's very sad and hard to believe, as Armstrong was always one of -- if not the nation's best college facilities in the Yeagley era. Was beautiful when we played there in the 1983 tournament! Last time I was in B'Town. Edited November 20, 2016 by Z.I.P.
Z.I.P.
Through 40 minutes, each side has 6 shots. Two of ours on goal to one for IU.

fknbuflobo
Could have been several scores this first half, a few for each side. Zips will have the wind in the second half. JLew needs more touches.
