kreed5120 Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 Has anyone heard what round "experts" have him going? Quote
Dr Z Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 What a great interview. Good questions, and good answers by DeAndre. Only question I would like to know the answer to is, would you have liked to shadow Corey Davis this year, and has your scheme ever included shadowing (I think no, but would like to hear his comments)? Corey lined up all over, as opposed to Boyd (strictly at the Z) as DeAndre refers to. My favorite answer (of many): DeAndre Scott: My time at Akron was one to remember. Coming in, in 2012 as a mid-year freshman not knowing who my coach was gonna be at the time and not having a clue what I was in for. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. Graduated and earned my degree as well as helped build a program that wasn’t used to seeing success and being apart of a bunch of devoted guys/coaches to change the culture around the university and program it made me cherish Akron even more. It helped me grow into the person/player I am now. Definitely an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything. 4 Quote

Pretty kind words from a guy who has been here through it all for a "program in shambles" Wish the best for him. Don't know if he will get drafted but he will get a shot somewhere. Quote
K92 Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 Nothing but respect for DeAndre Scott. Hearing a player talk about Zip pride absolutely makes my day. Best of luck and success wherever life takes you, sir. Quote
Balsy Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 What stands out most to me in that quote is Players and coaches devoted to changing the culture around the university and to turn the program around. Quote
