Z.I.P. Posted September 20, 2017 Report Posted September 20, 2017 Sad that Sinisa did not have a more impactful -- and top-flight career as a pro. I really expected him to be at least a semi-star when he arrived in MLS. Coincidental that I met a Red Bulls fan at the USMNT game vs Honduras watch with AO Honolulu who knew Sinisa well. 1 Quote
TennZip Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 I think that he will do well in coaching. 1 Quote
ZipsVoice Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 I loved to watch him play, and got to know his family a little while he was at Akron and he and his brother were playing for Mentor High School. Plus - I loved to say his name! After you got the rhythm to it, it just rolled off your tongue. Was real glad when he transferred from Illinois-Chicago. Twice an All-American, a MAC Player of the Year. Maybe will be in the Akron Hall of Fame some day? 2 Quote
