I was really looking forward to two good games with four teams that were all capable of winning the tournament. Miami spoiled that when they got pasted by OU in the second game. Then their coach left for Marquette and they fell off dramatically. Agree 10000%. We got one of the best games ever in the tournament and then arguably one of the worst! LOL!
ewbrooman1
Good games yesterday. Looking forward to the semis with the top 4 seeds tomorrow.
ewbrooman1
Good back and forth women's final as CMU beats BG 77-72. Wondering if MAC will get 2 bids again. #1 seed Dayton against VCU women's A-10 semis next up on CBSSN. Geez, Zips beat Dayton. How things changed. Akron Rick
Does anyone have info on the three recruits Jackson signed this year re: how they did as seniors? That would be Abby Carter from Eastlake North, Regan Bass from Strongsville, and Zakia Rasheed (don't have h.s.). I guess PT will be tough with the extra year for seniors. Zakia Rasheed, the 5-8 guard from Avon, IN (Indy) appears to be the star of the class. She's got LONG range shooting ability, has quicks, a defensive ball-hawk. 4.0 student. ZZZips
The Zips also signed a really good point guard who is transferring from Detroit Mercy. Two years of eligibility remaining. Annika Corcoran played in high school at Gilmour Academy. She has a great chance of stepping into the starting role at point guard for the Zips.
