SBZipfan Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Hofstra now up 4-0 on PSU. Seems like the Pride is pretty pissed at being RPI #10 and not getting a seed, while #21 PSU did. 1 Quote

MDZip Posted December 6, 2021 Report Posted December 6, 2021 Clemson upset #1 Oregon State on PK's or the final four would have been 1, 2, 3 and 4. Three of four games went down to PK's (including the last MAC rep WVU). Clemson, Washington Georgetown and Notre Dame in this year's College Cup. Quote
fknbuflobo Posted December 7, 2021 Report Posted December 7, 2021 Guess I am rooting for Washington since they have never won it. In fact, Huskies have never before advanced to College Cup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Division_I_Men's_Soccer_Tournament https://gohuskies.com/sports/mens-soccer 1 1 Quote
fknbuflobo Posted December 11, 2021 Report Posted December 11, 2021 I keep forgetting that Navy has won a title. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted December 11, 2021 Report Posted December 11, 2021 Thought Alabama A&M won one. HBCU. 😯 Quote
GoZips88 Posted December 11, 2021 Report Posted December 11, 2021 Clemson and Washington in tomorrow's Final. Clemson took out < genuflect > Notre Dame 1-1 on PKs. ND's goal came on a PK. Clemson's was a beautiful strike from the top of the box. Clemson goalie is the primary reason they advanced. Big saves in regulation and stopped one late in PKs. Notre Dame played a 'physical' game not unlike that of the Big 10. Very happy to see Clemson advance. Washington struck twice within 2-3 minutes early in the 2nd half and held on to win 2-1 over the hoity Hoyas. Not a fan of Seattle but definitely not a fan of DC/Georgetown. This is Washington's first trip to the Cup. Probably going to to pull for the Tigers. Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted December 11, 2021 Report Posted December 11, 2021 Go Huskies! Personally, I love the Emerald City... Beautiful area. Thanks for DeAndre Yedlin and best wishes to him and Steve Zakuani. 1 Quote

Thanks for DeAndre Yedlin and best wishes to him and Steve Zakuani. I can never root for an ACC team. They always get the best treatment from the NCAA. I would like to see Jamie Clark of Washington join his father (Bobby Clark of Notre Dame) in winning an NCAA. Of Course, Bobby only won 1 title...so the younger Clark has a lot of winning to do if they want to catch the father son team of Jerry and Todd Yeagley. Jerry Yeagley was a great , great college coach. Quote
