The previous two posts pretty much summed up my thoughts. There is unmistakable talent on this team (probably best defense in 7 or 8 years?), but 4-8 will be a very reasonable finish given the degree of difficulty.

 

Oh and when scheduling our FCS home game, I would suggest avoiding teams with excellent tradition like Colgate - not smart.

Not sure what is meant by “general competence.” Under Mooorhead the Zips have played 13 one score games in two seasons. To my knowledge, that’s more than any other FBS program. Unfortunately, the wins

It might be a 6-7 win talent level, but it's hard to rattle off 5 or 6 out of 8 after starting 1-3. They need better opportunities to create momentum early in the season
