Your critique was not seeing enough subs 😆😆😆 

 

So you’d rather see subs over winning? We watch sport for different reasons then. For many weeks, you’ve been Criticizing Embick potentially asking for a new coach and now after some better results and performances, you want to see more subs. 😅

 

Buebendorf didn’t have cleats on at the game so my guess is he’s injured. 👍

It’s awesome to win a few games. Not arguing with that but relying on Mitch Budler to stand on his head every game as well as team saves is not going to lead to post season success.

 

Not likely to go far post season playing like this. But please continue being drunk on a few W’s. 🤪

 

Pro teams, including the beloved Arsenal, use more subs than the Zips.

Neither. He hasn’t been on the gameday roster since Temple. As if the press conference wasn’t enough…..

He’s appeared in too many games to redshirt.

drove up for the Friday night zips soccer and then went to Guardians game 1 playoffs

then started the long drive home

Embick calling out "the freshman left back substitute" in his Temple post game comments....was very unprofessional.    It showed very poor judgement by Embick.     Other players (some of them an early season co-captain) gave up  goals in several games earlier in the year and they were not targeted by Embick in the post match comments.

   One former zip player (time frame before 2000) called Embick's Temple press conference comments "reprehensible."

 

   Being a freshman athlete is very hard.   Trying to balance schoolwork and athletics.  Being away from home for a significant amount of time.   Criticism of a freshman athlete should be done in the privacy of a locker room.   It should not be done publicly when the coach is frustrated by poor results.

 

    James Buebendorf was a highly ranked recruit and I very much want him to succeed at the University of Akron.
