What a great atmosphere to be among the Zips fans at Xavier supporting our team on the road. Significant contingents of Matt Dreas', Ashton Kamdem's, and Jack Roman's family and friends and Zips Men's Soccer alumni players and/or family.

For future reference, I can highly recommend the Zip Burger at Zip's Cafe, ~3.5 miles from Xavier's soccer field. Tasted great, especially following a 3-1 Zips WIN!!!

I recently got to visit both UC and Xavier campuses on a little road trip to Cinci. Catholic is not my jam but X seems like a really nice school with a nice suburban-style campus. The soccer stadium is on the edge of campus across a perimeter road along with the baseball field. It seems nice but makes me appreciate that our soccer stadium is basically right on campus. On the other hand, their basketball arena (Cintas Center) is right on campus. Unfortunately it was locked up so I couldn't go inside for a peek - it would be fun to see the Zips play there. Speaking of right on campus, that describes UC's football stadium. It's not even fenced so you could go right on the field any time if you wanted to. When I was there, a few students were sitting in the lower stands reading or visiting and a couple were running the stairs. UC is a much more urban campus feel. I went into the bookstore which had a huge clothing/gear area.
