rln
Rivals is reporting that Hargrave Military DT Cowles Stewart will play at Akron next year with former team members Shane Shead and Almondo Sewell. Cowles looks like a great late addition for the Zips.See link:http://floridastate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=50432
a-zip
Wow, a nice late addition indeed at a position that needs it.. I was wondering what happened to this guy.
TXZipFan
Man JD did one heck of a job recruiting Hargrave this year, I would really like that trend to continue. This is a huge pick up to fill the void we've got on the DL, cause without Stewart we don't have much depth ay DT.
timmyboy
so is this one of the 4 scholorships thatw e have left? hopefully we can use 2 more on some other talented DT's
Buckzip
That would be a great pipeline to have with Hrgrave. This guy looks mean too.Give him a year or 2 in a collee weight program and he could be a stud.
Captain Kangaroo
so is this one of the 4 scholorships thatw e have left? hopefully we can use 2 more on some other talented DT's No. He'll be walking on. He seems to really want to be a Zip, and the staff likes him. He's a good kid and he'll have a good opportunity to win a scholarship if he works hard.FYI - Look for another big, big dude to give the Zips a commitment soon. A DL. ZachTheZip
Cap't you've got us all anxious for the official announcement of who it is... any hints??? It's not who, but when? When is the announcement? I hope it is coming soon. Maybe it will coincide with the stadium announcement, since that is the next big scheduled football-related press conference. Captain Kangaroo
Cap't you've got us all anxious for the official announcement of who it is... any hints??? The only thing I can say is he's a giant DL. And, that he is not listed on any of the recruiting sites.

KentZip
Could it be??????????J'Michael DeaneDefensive tackle, 6 foot 6, 290 pounds Metro Toronto Deane gave a verbal commitment to MSU on Sunday, giving the Spartans two defensive tackles from Canada in one weekend. With the departure of Domata Peko from an already thin defensive tackle position, Deane provides much-needed depth for the Spartans. He will have four years of eligibility.Deane is considered by many football analysts to be one of the top defensive lineman in all of Canada. The two-star defensive tackle chose MSU over offers from Duke, Akron and Ohio.
T.O Zipfan
I don't think its J'Michael, but if it is the kid I'm thinking this kid was recruited by Michigan State, I've seen his tape and he looks like a man among boys and this was junior tape, from what I have heard the senior tape is even better, and this is the most competitive league in Canada.
