MACReport Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 We have just posted our 2007 MAC Football Preview through MAC Report Online. Please go to our homepage at http://www.macreportonline.com to download the 51 page 2007 preview in Adobe Acrobat. We went position by position for each team and included comments from our interviews with the coaches from around the league. Since I did part of the MAC preview for this year's edition of College Blue Ribbon Yearbook, we pretty much followed that format. It's a lot of info, hopefully most of it is still current...you know how things can change. But all of our interviews were conducted after spring practice, some as recently in the past two weeks and should be very current.Feedback welcome...even the negative stuff!DaveMAC Report Online Quote
Z.I.P. Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 As far as I and I'm sure, many Akron fans are concerned, the transition at quarterback is OVER. The fact that Getsy is gone means the position can only get better. We have three guys who coulod get better stats, one who can be dangerous both in the air and on the turf. I understand the preview prophets have to depend on individual player experience to make prognostications, but every year therre are players who come from out of nowhere to become stars (who is that Ball State QB again?). The MAC is still anchored in mediocrity, so a not-that-grand improvement can add up to a being Why not Akron? Why not 2007? Quote
gozips19 Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Dave you are insane! How's that for feedback Quote

I'll have it up no later than Wednesday. Quote

InTheZone Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 This week's sign that the apocalypse is upon us:MAC Championship: Can't State over Ball State Quote
ziptrumpet87 Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 more of the same predictions at CBS TV47 MAC previewbest motivating line from this article: Bottom line - Wait till next year when RB Andrew Johnson is eligible. Akron will win two games, both in the conference. Bet against them every week. Quote
Big Zip Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 I'd love to believe this team is going to play great and contend for the conference championship. How about instead of blasting the pre-season publications, which I'm inclined to agree with, and put together some coherent argument for why I should think we got better than Can't by losing our offensive line, starting QB, and best WR. Not to mention the guts of our defensive line. Were you guys at the same Can't game I was at last year -- I was embarassed by how bad they looked. They were pathetic. They couldn't stop them and everyone in the building new the freaking play! Quote
