He's a B-I-G dude. He's on campus and will participate this spring. We had 18 recruits visiting this weekend, so more verbals should follow soon. Blue & Gold
Rivals has Hazime listed at 6-5 & 235 w/ a 4.5 40?! I'm not doubting his size, but there's no way someone w/ that size runs a 4.5 40!

I suppose I shouldn't have said, "no way." Instead I should have said, "Wow! That's EXCEEDINGLY RARE!" I sure hope it's accurate! I don't have time to look up the info on this, but that's probably bigger and faster than Jason Taylor was when he played for us! I think JT was a 4.7 guy - which was amazing for his height. RACER
still no qb except for the kid from new philly.i would have to think jd thinks rogers is the answer.my problem is even if he is the real deal what about the backup.i guess cj gets that by default.i still worry that the biggest need on the team qb and jd has not gone after another qb. If all else fails, we have three more QBs on the team, whom would be KC Patterson, Kade Wagner, and Jordan Miller. At least one of them has to be able to lead this team. According to Rasor's Blog, Deryn Bowser, a four-star JUCO Wide Receiver from LA, has just committed to the Zips. He's 6-3, 215 lbs, and runs a 4.

w00t
Oops, I thought Rivals and Scout both had him listed as uncommited. Rivals has him as a verbal, Scout lists him as undecided. Scout (as of 1/17 anyway) indicated that we are still in the lead for Marquis Avery though.I'm still nervous anyway... I'm a skeptic about any of our football recruits (esp. the really good ones) until I've seen them on the field when the ball is snapped. I have it too. Bowser is the real deal. Fingers are crossed that a PAC-10 school doesn't steal him.

jstoudemire
no extra baggage....you all know juss because those schools are on the list doesnt mean they have what my brother (deryn bowser) is looking for.....akron showed him the most love and the best situation for a JUCO Receiver. Captain Kangaroo
Looking forward to watching him play! We need a game-breaking WR to step in and contribute immediately. I saw his films, and he looks great. Very elusive once he catches the ball.

I didn't see his name on the roster that is posted on GoZips.com, but that doesn't really mean anything. If he is, can you comment on how he likes it here so far? jstoudemire
he loves it in akron, myself and our other brother are also coming to live in akron and attend the university, he hated oregon and hawaii and the coaches at akron showed him the most love and interest. Akron was the only trip he had a good time on. i believe he may be coming in the summer but i am not sure when. (sry if i sound repetitive kinda screwed up posting replies), If the receiver core outside of deryn are experienced and skill enough to not allow defensive to zoom on deryn and stop offensive production, this will be an exciting offense to watch. I am also not very familiar with akrons running back at the moment but i hav some research to do. Deryn will fill the void left by jabari if not exceed in my and the coaches opinion. I cant wait to get there and watch Akron win another Mac Championship!!!!!!!!!! CBS
