Nothing Major but added two new shots.FLICKR
ooohh  I really like this shot, g-mann.Do you have it in a higher resolution?3769854347_cc90b19749.jpgI think they could almost use that as a postcard. The split composition showing the architecture and green spaces... and for some reason I like that stirring sky

We have a Penn State fan here at work. I showed her the web cams of the new stadium. She seemed quite favorably impressed (it looks so much better with that hillside filled in with grass). I also showed her the Captains Photoshop handiwork on the Penn State scoreboard. She seemed somewhat less impressed with that. :) Got six tickets and am ready to go for Sep. 5th. I'll be in San Diego the week before and don't even feel bad about wanting that week to be over.

I was talking to my neighbor last night who is in the landscaping business, and I asked him about how long it would take for the sod to root. If it was done properly, with staples, it should be taking root in 3 weeks. So, in 6 weeks, it should be in darn good shape. :)

The final light pole is being prepped on the street between Info and the Rec Center. Should be lifted into place soon. No work so far today on parking lot next to the Nat. Sun bar parking lot is crushed asphalt, not paved.

But not good enough to have a crowd of people walking on it.

Orrville football star Chase Hoobler, who recently made a verbal commitment to attend UA, sings the praises of Infocision Stadium in an article in the Wooster Daily Record."I've seen the new stadium twice and it's really sweet," Hoobler said. "Their facilities all-around are some of the best I've seen on any of my college visits."The article also says that Orrville conducted 7-on-7 passing drills at the Info. How could we Stadiumcam watchers possibly have missed that?!

I saw them at the indoor and outdoor (Schrank) fields but not on the stadium turf. Must be a slip up on his part or the reporter.

Sorry, but I think those light posts cheapen the entire thing. Everything else is beautiful then they do that. Why not do what the original rendering showed? :wall:
I agree with you 100% BuckZip. The original renderings had the five poles with skinny, vertical light fixtures that almost reminded me of the lights above the bleachers at Progressive Field... stylistic and cool. The lights we're getting aren't even on par with Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon or Fawcett in Canton. Those are both to NFL broadcast standards. I have a hard time believing these lights will be that great for TV.

FawcettStadium-2.jpgstadium1.jpgHow do our lights look any different? The lights behind the stands are the originals. The lights in the corners were added by the NFL for TV games.

I still think it will be fine for television, but it hardly brings anything exciting to the table. I won't complain, assuming they saved money to put into other aspects of the stadium.

Here is the rendering vs actual for reference. I'll have to see them in person to have an opinion. I can't do it from a 72 dpi 7 inch image.lights.jpg
