Z.I.P. Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 wrong link, cap.Yes, well, I remember meeting Frank Stams at the Hula Bowl, along with Lou Holtz after Notre Dame's national title. He was REALLY enthusiastic, and happy to see my AKRON tee-shirt. But I remember he was smaller than my own 6' and well under 200 lbs. Wasn't he a linebacker? Lou Holtz looked more like a player. You're saying Frank Stamms was surprisingly small? I saw Frank Stamms recently at Prestwick C.C. He's huge! I'll bet he's at least 6'3" and 230. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 I heard from a big Illini fan at work that just like Joel Goodson (Tom Cruise) in Risky Business, Hull is now saying "looks like it's the University of Illinois!". The Zooker seems to be making the most of his Ohio roots these days. Quote
