Three games left, and I can't figure the seeding out other than Akron and Miami will be one and two or two and one.
Looking forward to a home and home with NIU. Hopefully, they worked that out. Or at least a Horizon/MAC Challenge. Of course, NIU may be exempt like Marshall.
While we mock the other MAC coaches and their programs, these coaches ARE D1 and have a competent working knowledge of how to compete against good mid majors like Akron.
Great recap and preview from Zipped Up

Once again, Zipped Up nails it with a dose of reality.
A wise Zips fan pointed out to me that the 2020 Zips had a head-scratching loss at BG as the season came to a close. Tyler Cheese bumped an official, got suspended for a game, and Zips won handily at Buffalo next game with Cheese on the bench in warm up gear.
WMU game is very important for seeding and staying home.
Boals isn't going anywhere no matter how sad Kitten Attack is
Kent won 4 in a row. Easy win tonight. BG looking at bottom 4 placement. Western game important in that regard.
I will put this here. 2010 and 2012 Groce and DJ Cooper took out Akron and KD in the MAC finals in heartbreaking fashion. But in 2011, Bobcats lost to Ball State in the quarterfinals after coming in as a 5 seed and beating Toledo (12th seed in first round). Zips beat Kent in the finals in OT and had an 2xOT game v Miami in quarterfinals.
2011 for Ohio U was sandwiched between the tournament runs of beating GTown in first round and then getting a somewhat lackluster draw in 2012 and reaching Sweet 16. Here's a recap of the 2011 loss to Ball State 14 years ago! you get a glimpse of a younger and intense Coach Groce
