Agreed. I went to the Zips game against Buffalo and was not impressed with them as I always was with Legette-Jack's teams. Has anybody else noticed Miami is now 7-5 (15-8) in the MAC in former Zips assistant Glen Box's second year? He took over a trainwreck situation. 🤔

Maybe they had to go study. 😉

Just wondering what Ella Wigal's situation is. She played in 33 games at Liberty last year as a freshman. Seems like she could help a little if healthy. I understand not wanting to burn freshman redshirts.

He is a load that got tired at the end of the game. Lyles beat him down the court for two easy buckets as Zips pulled away. He looked a bit winded at the free throw line late, too.

Well, apparently they don't stay after either because there's only a handful left after the men's game. Good attendance for that game, though. The corner section was pretty full, too.

I guess it's kind of hard to tell what kind of team you have with so many injuries, defections, new players and personal issue absences. I've watched most games on the stream, but not attended any games like I normally would due to another year of inconsistent play and inconvenient tipoff times. Seems to me it would also make more sense to play the women's game first in a doubleheader so fans could arrive a little early and see the second half. I think more people would do that than stay for the entire women's second game. Just my opinion, but I've attended most women's games in previous years.

Not hard to have a Blue Out when your seats are the same color. 😄

I still think they should give the students the four corner sections of blue seats and add the seats back behind the baskets for them, too. There weren't exactly a lot if people sitting at those high top tables last night. I used to be a season ticket holder in what is now the student section. I also know a few people in the center section are not happy about having their view blocked the entire game by standing students.

Free gold t-shirt tonight for Gold Rush night that just has AKRON on the front and Children's Hospital logo on back. No reference to Zips, basketball or the University. Oh, and the team just came out in black uniforms with gold trim. 🙄

Nice of the EMUs to basically give up down 5 with 23 seconds left and fail to foul the Zips for 16 seconds. Reminded me of our coach's bad strategy at home against BGSU last year. 🙄
