Zipmeister
According to Stub Hub there are only 8 season tickets left for the 2013 season and if you act quickly they can secure them for you for only $350!!! That's for each ticket, not all 8.

Dave in Green
Wow, the coveted 10-yard-line seats in the lucky 21st row. Pretty special seats there.
MDZip
Resale sites like StubHub and RazorGator can only list the inventory that they have been provided at the price the seller has requested. No need to panic, plenty of good Zips seats still available.
zipsfan33
What should be more importantly noticed is the availability of Michigan tickets priced from 35- 50 bucks when I had to pay 75 for mine! Darn it!
GoZips
What should be more importantly noticed is the availability of Michigan tickets priced from 35- 50 bucks when I had to pay 75 for mine! Darn it! The Zips ticket office called me today for a renewal of my season ticket. I stated that I will renew next Wednesday when my government free money (oh, that's right, I paid into S/S for a zillion years) comes in. You do not have to buy the $75 end zone seat if you buy the $35 bus trip. I plan to get a cheaper and probably better seat on ebay, stubflub, etc. Only will have to go sit in the end zone with the rest of the Zippies. Does anyone know if UM cracks down on pre-game scalpers near the stadium? 'Cause folks, there will be plenty of seats available. Yes, the Zips $75 seats are in the corner of the end zone. An Akron official showed me a map of the seating today.
skip-zip
I've been to plenty of Zips road football games over the years. Somewhere near the corner of the end zone, down by the field, on the Akron bench side is the typical location for the group of tickets allotted to the visiting team. Only the morons down at OSWho put the visiting fans on the upper deck by the end zone scoreboard, a mile and a half away from the field. That endzone with the scoreboard is the student section. The visitor section is in the far left endzone corner (on the visitor sideline side) when looking from the press box. The visitor section is in the far left endzone corner (on the visitor sideline side) when looking from the press box. I was last at an Akron/OSWho road game about 6 or 7 years ago. The game that Akron trailed 3-2 at the half. The Akron section was at the very top level, under the video board. Just about the location from which this picture was taken. Above the tunnel where the visiting team enters/exits. We were able to yell down to our players and coaches. You can ask anyone else who was there. But even if, as your picture shows, they have moved visiting fans to the top level of the other side, is that any better? Every other game road game I've been to as an Akron road fan, sitting in the designated Akron section, it's been behind the Akron bench near the end zone, down by the field. LZIp
They have a section down by the field as well. Not every away opponent we play has the ticket demand OSU has.
skip-zip
They have a section down by the field as well. Not every away opponent we play has the ticket demand OSU has. That's strange. Every other away opponent we play chooses to give the away fans a great experience by putting everyone close together, down by the field. Including the team that we will be playing this September, which just broke an all-time record for attendance.
akzipper
Are you suggesting that Stub Hub is inaccurate? So there aren't only 5 tickets left for the game against Ohio? I feel like there's probably about 25,000 tickets still left for that game.
skip-zip
I feel like there's probably about 25,000 tickets still left for that game. So, you are guessing that 5,000 tickets have been sold so far? I have no idea how many we normally have been selling by early August over the last few years. zipsfan33
I have been to all three OSU/ Zip games and I was sitting in this approximate spot all three times. I don't remember much other than: 1. It was 100 degrees at all three 2. We had a 400 pound plus guy in our row which made the tight bleacher seating even tighter at the 3-2 halftime game. 3. Seatbacks are not allowed unless you are a season ticket holder and "buy" them

Is this down close to the field? I wish I had known that there were going to be cheap seats. I looked on Stubhub and ebay back in june, but what was there was expensive. Oh well, its ONLY $75 bucks! MDZip
Did anyone ever determine what actual section Zips fans will be sitting in for the Michigan game?
Balsy
I think someone said that it was behind one of the goal posts. However, my tickets were cheaper than buying through athletics...and are 1000x better seats.
Zipsrifle
It might be more reliable to go through StubHub than the UA ticket office. Screwed up my seats for the 2nd time in the past 4 years....
MDZip
Maybe I needed to be a little clearer. All I was looking for was a way to get as close to the Akron section as possible if I didn't end up getting them through the ticket office (since I am not absolutely sure I am going to be able to go yet). Does anyone already have theirs through the UA ticket office and know what the section number is?

They put us in section 8, which is way up at the top of the stadium in an upper corner.
