This game should always be played on a weekend night, where I can get to the bar 3 hours before game time, talk about the match up with my buddies, get some food, and get in the mood. There's no excuse that an Akron / K.e.n.t game is held on a Tuesday. And please don't give me any crap that "It's on National TV." It's on ESPN 3. That's a joke. On Wistercill's long, long epitaph, one of the many passages will read; "I sold my soul for ESPN3." At the bottom will be: #TeamOhio

I prefer to call the new edition the A K Sleepies. Not a lot of passion there these days. Needs to change for sure

I remember the game at Can't a few years ago when some of our Rowdies dressed as Can't fans and rolled out a "We Suck" sign in their student section...on TV! That was classic! Where did this creativity and enthusiasm go? Even if both teams are winless, games against Can't should still have meaning.

A Zips sweep of Can't tonight and March 6 will tie the all-time series at 71-71 and set up an opportunity for the Zips to take the all-time lead forever as early as the MAC tournament. Let's do this thing.

IMO it won't matter. Buffalo is the tougher team. Toledo has more offensive talent but the chemistry is lacking some. Sometimes Juice just doesn't feel the need 0t to give it up so they can get a bit selfish. They also can get lazy on the defensive end. I would not at all be surprised to see the Bulls take them down by DDs. I'll stand my ground for now proclaiming Buffalo to be the best and most complete team in a very tight conference. Probably the best schedule of games the MAC could ever muster tonight. 3-4 really good ones on tap.

+1.. AK Sleepies. I always laugh when they hold up the dry erase board with what to yell during the visitors starting line up.....and none of them are funny or creative.

We're never going to get a major increase in fans. We as Akron faithful need to accept that. We should focus on making the gameday experience more welcoming to current students so they want to attend more games.
