If this was in the works and was responsible, or even partly responsible for Zips Football only having 1 weekday game (the day after Thanksgiving) in 2015, then THANK YOU CBS Sports Network.

The real question is, does this mean more games in total televised or the same, but less on ESPN and more on CBS sports? Anyways, it looks like ESPN is making out on the deal. They are getting paid to not show our games!

This is interesting to me. I think its a good idea to lower costs, but to HALF of what a community college costs? Makes little sense to me. Why not make them the same or only slightly lower than community colleges? Your name alone should give you an edge over community colleges if all things are equal (or close to it). Seems there is quite the opportunity loss there. Will the assumed increase in enrollment make up for the loss from such a steep decrease? Do we care about quality or quantity? I was thinking there was more of an emphasis on quality towards the end of Proenza's term with actually implementing some requirements to get accepted. This seems to point more towards quantity.

I could sit here and have a picture posting battle with you or point out players that died, used heroin, flunked out, quit, and lost TONS of games while wearing the donkey logo….but I won't THE POINT IS THAT THE DONKEY IS NOT A WELL KNOWN LOGO THAT IS ASSOCIATED TO MULTIPLE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! If you want to say our soccer team from 5 years ago made it a household logo….you all are the clueless ones. Damn people, we are not getting rid of our mascot Zippy (who is well known). Many schools, even powerhouse schools, change their logos and marketing. Outside of Akron, most people make fun of and don't even know what that Donkey logo is. READ THE ARTICLES I POSTED. The #1 reason I attended events as a student was definitely the consistency of our team's logos. I can't imagine the drop in attendance if our basketball team started wearing a Z on their shorts or something.
