  1. I certainly wouldn't say that CSU "recruits too well", they just seem to have a program culture that is conducive to transfers. I guarantee you that if Grady, Forbes, and Lewis were at Akron they would not have all transferred. If over-recruiting was a common phenomenon at the mid-major level then programs like Gonzaga, Wichita St., etc. wouldn't exist. Schools should recruit the best players possible, but you have to win with them. Great players on mediocre mid-major teams without that positive culture is a formula for transfers. But anyways, this game should be easy for the Zips. Kenpom has CSU 222nd to start the year and they were picked by the media towards the bottom of the Horizon. That being said, we have to come ready to play as you never know what could happen, especially in a local rivalry.

  4. I saw that there were only 1691 at the BG game-- that is very disappointing. The attendance doesn't seem to match the quality of the team

  5. 3:30 kickoff (just announced) should be perfect for the Poutine cook off. CBS Sports Network will televise the game.

  6. David Suntup on the video said that Embick told him...that he was letting Danilo Radjen recover from an unspecified injury for one more game and that Danilo would be ready for the MAC tourney. That being said, I was very glad to see Coach Embick give Alonzo Clarke the opportunity as a center back. For whatever reason, Brad and Andrew have not clicked this year as center backs. Andrew has really done well on the outside ....shutting down the outside forwards and he has done well on the offensive side. I also was quite impressed with how well that Alonzo Clarke played. I think that he is going to be a major contributor for the zips. Stuart Holthusen was one of the few bright spots in the UCLA game as he stepped up in Richie's absence and he seemed to carry his confidence forward into the BG game. Like many others on this board, I am so happy with the tremendous strides that Victor Souto has made this year. Victor's passion and will to win is unmatched. He plays an unsung position but his value to the team can not be understated. I hope that Victor can help share some of the many things that he has learned with Richie Laryea to help Richie stay yellow card free....the remainder of the year

  7. Much better than it did before. I think it may be a shade too dark though. But it looks good.
