Yesterday Terry said Woody bruised his shoulder at the end of the App St. game. He said there isn't anything wrong structurally and he has been cleared by the doctors to play. Its a matter of being able to deal with the pain. Terry went on to say all last week Woody felt better and better but still had a lot of discomfort when he warmed up Saturday. Both qb's practice with the 1's this week and if Saturday Woody is still sore TC5 is ready to go.2 points

Next Year? The 30 Year Anniversary of our move to D-1A ?? It's a thought. Actually, maybe these celebrations of anniversaries is a good idea, and should happen more often, simply to educate our students and younger fans of our history. Heck, people who are students at Akron right now likely don't even know that we won a MAC title in 2005. We should be educating and reminding them of all of our sports accomplishments from the past. I think it helps them connect with our athletic programs. That's why we should have placed that Heisman Statue in a place where our students walk every day.2 points

Totally agree. I would play cover 2 against TW all day. I make him hand off as many times as I can, and make him throw to the middle of the field. His deep ball is unreal, and I'm scared of his ability to strike quick on long plays. I want him orchestrating a 10+ play drive instead of a 5 play drive that ends up with Jojo/Lane/Wolf dancing in the end zone. If TC5 starts, he is going to see man, we need to win 3 or 4 of those matchups to keep the defense honest. His second half last week is a good indication he can. Bryce Jones was doing everything last week. Now he's expanding his role this week....1 point
