Personally, I'm skipping the game because I'd just rather stay home and watch the Browns game. If I lived 10-15 min away I'd probably go to the game then make it home before kickoff, but I don't. I have season tickets and will probably make it out to a dozen games. I feel I'm doing my part.
I haven't done any research to know if this is true or not, but from people I know who have been recruited it seems to be the assistants are the ones who are more active on Twitter, doing the groundwork to connect with recruits. Head coaches might have a Twitter but not sure how active the majority are.
This just doesn't make much sense to me. If we're going to sacrifice a home game why wouldn't we instead just take $1.3 mil to play at (insert P5 school) then give Chattanooga their 300k while pocketing the mil for ourselves?

Akron and Carnegie Mellon have already established a long and fierce rivalry in interscholastic competition. Alas it is not in basketball, football, or even riflery but rather in concrete canoe racing that these rivals are best suited. Will it be a good day to take to Summit Lake to renew the rivalry?
