Personally, I'll be cheering for DeKalb & Canada as I think the Flushes and Chipps are more serious competitors to us for an improved seed.

I suspect that DeAndre will win the vote for right back...based on what he has accomplished in the pros. If I could vote (not on twitter)....I would cast my vote for Kofi Sarkodie. This vote should be for how great that they were in college.... Soccer America chose Kofi Sarkodie as the best college soccer player in America in 2010 (they chose him over a guy named Darlington Nagbe) Kofi and Darlington were both selected as first team all americans DeAndre was at Akron as a freshman and sophomore and he learned and improved during his time at Akron. So, assuming 26 total available, it appeared we were at 27 with today's signings, but are actually at 25. Its tough to find anything out there about a player being medically disqualified creating an extra "counter" and allowing a team to sign more than 25, but I'm trusting @ComettoZip's word there. With that, there is still potentially 1 open scholly out there. We are currently 9 under the limit and can maybe get it to 8. There is no doubt players will end up transferring. This handcuff is worth keeping in mind throughout the year. We are doing everything we can to get to a "level" playing field, with likely less talented players overall, while much of the stable opposition is looking for ways to shed players so that they can bring in more talented ones. I would have guessed that Marreon Jackson would be the top contender as he's the only other MAC player consistently putting up gaudy scoring totals in MAC play. I guess when your team is 3-6 in conference play that automatically disqualifies you. Turner is probably another guy to keep an eye on. His numbers aren't as good as LCJ, but BGSU is currently in 1st place.

ESPN has LCJ listed as the frontrunner as MAC player of the year.
