T minus 2 hours and counting until kickoff

I'm pretty sure we have COVID issues last week on D, Ohio had a COVID breakout immediately after they played us, and I saw a player's parent hint on twitter we should cancel as well when news of their game broke. I don't know the MAC's policy, but wouldn't be surprised if we are missing quite a few again. Probably operating at something like 55 scholarship players available if its a similar injury/COVID situation as last week.

Let's go Zips The game is only 10 hours away from kickoff. In the past, If the game was at the INFO, I would be unloading the car and getting ready for a day long excursion of tail gating. Now, there would only be a couple of us in Lot 9, but that number would grow in the hour before kickoff. Zips need to put on a good show tonight.

Meaningless prediction... Kent receiver McKoy picks up at least one unsportsmanlike or personal foul call. He's a punk who always chooses the low road.

I know these guys are not ready. But, give them 4-5 plays a game to understand the speed of the game. Also, that will help them work harder in the weight room and get ready for next year. It will also give a brief breather to the starters while you are prepping for future success, and it is not at the expense of current success.

This is a huge recruiting class! On paper this is our best overall recruiting class ever. Outside of Zeke we will now have our 4 highest rated recruited players in Zips history all on the same team. Tribble, Clarke, Nate Johnson and Kalle. Also don’t sleep on Kobe Mitchell his HS is small and in the middle of nowhere Ohio which doesn't get much attention. He could very easily be rated a 3 star recruit before the year is over. Obviously stars are stars and play on the court in college is what matters but this is an extremely exciting time to be a Zips Basketball fan. We have a VERY bright future. Now can I talk myself into thinking we could somehow land Chris Livingston in 2022 and wanting to stay in Akron? One can dream.
