A question should have been...Who if anyone will make the first 3 pointer? Definitely not Josh.

Isn't there some connection to the Peters family at Ball State?

Word. Watched.the Kansas/Baylor game and thought Kansas could never lose at home. Their fans holding up signs to that effect and then boom! It's gone! Start over. We are really spoiled at the JAR, and I'm not still not sure what makes that place so special.

It was definitely when and not IF the guys would drop an away game. Not rationalizing but better a Noon game on the day before the super bowl than much later in season at Ravenna or Canada. As for the trolls, what's your win streak at the majestic hallowed Convo? Akron has a lot of rivals at this point. But OU has dropped down to 3 or 4 on that list.

The refs are so inconsistent. Kent and EMU had 54 fouls and 4 technicals. The Central/Western game had a chippy incident and words exchanged but nothing was called. Ive watched other games this year when the refs just step in and calm things down and avoid the techs. CMU coach was thrown out once or twice. Then I wanted Baylor v Kansas and the refs just let them play. I doubt the MAC players are just so much hot-tempered and foul prone than other conferences.

Big bummer to lose. No rationalizing here. Let's just not make a habit of it!! That's the thing about win streaks (obviously) they eventually come to an end with a thud. Winning the close games gives the team confidence in tough situations, but it also has to wear on these guys mentally and emotionally. A nice blow out of Ball State on Tuesday should do the trick to get them back on track. Go Zips!

My bad. Waiting for someone else to start it. This subject seems to have run its course.

They want Groce back. They want DJ back. Newsflash...They aren't coming back. Move on.

The Classless Kittens already started two "Kron" threads for this Saturday and in the first one they immediately began with rude and offensive comments about Big Dog. I dislike the Kent team the most but the Kitten fan base is basically a bunch of Neanderthals.

Will be fascinating to watch how the MAC seeding falls out if the lower 11 keep feeding on each other. Buffalo needs to ramp up its inconsistency again.

http://www.thesuburbanite.com/sports/20170131/senior-center-uses-court-vision-to-power-akron-basketball-team Well-written article on Big Dog. Some decent journalism and use of the word "fulcrum!"

I think at home against anyone else our faith would have been stronger. The deficit and the history at DeKalb weighed heavily. That starting lineup is so cohesive you know good things can happen if they can stay on floor. Antino and Noah remind me (in some illogical way) of my favorite point guard combo of Roberts and McNees...You can trust they will get it done.

I don't have enough "Likes" for this thread. Love having Zipsnation to get thru these stressful nights.

Ravenna and Kalamazoo helped out. Now up 4 games on every team accept the Cardinals of Muncie.

I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE!!!!!

I think the ESPN score update is ahead of the live feed.

I can't take this. Time to turn on a rerun of Wild Kingdom or something. Wake me up when it's over.

Considering our history with NIU, the complete comeback doesn't seem probable, but if they have to get it down to a two possession game.

If we can do like WMU did tonight and just keep chipping at the lead and get this down to 5 or 6, we can do this.

As is tradition, about this time in the season the other MAC teams start learning how to play us. There was going to be a loss somewhere a long the line here. If and that's IF it's tonight, it was predictable and doesn't doom our season.

Are we still in it?? I'm going to try and not be a doom and gloom like they get on other message boards. Need to get back to reality.

I'm keeping the faith, but this one was circled as an L since the schedule came out.

But you digress...

The Zips and the coaches just look so unhappy and frustrated whenever they play there.

In a matrer of minutes, Kittens just blew a 21 point lead in Kalamazoo as Western went on 15-0 run to end the half.
