  1. She's the one in full make up and eyelashes. She is smooth out there.
  2. This Buffalo team is tough.
  3. Kittens Attack is a sad place today. Not only are they convinced they won't get a bid to the CBI they also have threads entitled: "One of the Most Embarrassing Losses in School History" and "We Shouldn't Give Up Now." Also, they have a poll "How many games will the Bobcats win in Cleveland?" ( think they have 4 choices). (and to give credit, they shoot a lot of 3s, and if they get hot they could win)
  4. A senior night without seniors. How weird is that?
  5. He whined that the BG guy pushed him. I was watching the game and when they showed a different angle you could see Carter not only traveled but hooked the BG out of the way while going to the basket.
  6. Yes, they are so despondent it isn't even fun. A CBI reference would be a funny joke on Ball State Over the Pylon, but on Kittens Attack, they are deadly serious.
  7. I made 3 points in that post
  8. Nope, and it looks like the final 8 teams are set unless BG can beat Toledo @ Toledo when Toledo is playing for the #1 seed and the regular season championship. Toledo reminds me of the Zips 2020 team.
  9. Uhh. well, maybe Zips would still have Trimble? Can't look backwards. I believe OU won last year because they were fresh, having only played a handful of games from end of February into March.
  10. with OU crashing and burning, looks like Ravenna Tech has a clear road to the finals. If Northern Illinois beats Ohio and Buffalo beats Kent, Ohio would move to 4th seed and Buffalo to 3rd
  11. It really was. Ohio kept throwing up 3s at the end. Just didn't make as many as they did against the Zips.
  12. BG taking it to OU. They've tried to lose it. Jason Carter just got a double T and kicked out of the game. OU shot 37 three pointers. Missed the vast majority.
  13. Those two bad losses for the Zips put them on the wrong side of the bracket with Toledo.
  14. I love that message board (unless this game flips). Those guys are funny, unlike Bobcat Attack which is completely humorless.
  15. Like Indiana University of Pennsylvania there is also Illinois State of Florida.
  16. Considering their ticket is punched and pretty much set as a 3rd seed, I wonder if Coach Jackson will give Jordyn some rest these last two games.
  17. Agree. Not sure if there can be trap games this late in the season when the teams, well at least a Groce team, is prepping for the tournament with each game. Looking at last year's record, I think Zips lost 2 games going into Cleveland. But I really don't count last year. LCJ had a baby during the last half of the season, and they never knew when they were playing. What I do note from last year, is that Ohio was pretty fresh having come off a long COVID break and then played 3 games (winning 2 and losing 1 badly) and then missing their last two games before Cleveland. Makes me think that there may be a benefit to having fresh legs and a clear head. It feels like the Zips season started fresh after Trimble left, which is a sad commentary on Brian. Looking at last year, there were many games where he was the top scorer over LCJ. Continue to play tough and play right with a good attitude. The seeding is set. I wonder if the final game against CMU will decided the Chippewas' fate.
  18. Our friends in Muncie tend to lose their focus: https://overthepylon.boards.net/thread/4480/akron
  19. not to digress the thread but when was Kwan's 3 point shooting ever on? (edit: apart from a rare occasion) The crowd at the JAR usually sceamed "Don't Shoot" whenever he had the ball on the perimeter.
  20. Utomi was supposed to be the 3 point specialist off the bench. I think Tommy Schmock does that role fairly well for the Bobcats.
  21. Yes, i was thinking more of Central and Eastern Michigan. They could both finish season winning the same # of conference games but Central would get the nod because 6-12 is a better % than 6-14, even though Eastern beat Central twice. Doesn't seem fair, but life isn't fair
  22. Does anyone know how the tiebreakers work when one of the tied teams has played fewer conference games?
  23. CMU holding tough against Ravenna. But like all the other low tier schools today they aren't going to hold up for an entire game. Ravenna about to take the lead.
  24. BG lost to WMU at home. that program is reeling.
