Josh Allen was on scholarship but they did find him in the middle of nowhere with very few offers and they were not D1.

For all you star struck folks out there that put so much emphasis on how many stars are in front of an athletes name, I want you to look at both rosters for tomorrow's Super Bowl. You will be shocked at how few are 4 & 5 star guys and how many unranked ,yes, ZERO star players are on the rosters. Just backs my theory , the majority of the 4-5 stars are for the overhype boys.

Im guessing they all PWOs. Arth has to be saving monies for some transfers and if the PWOs work hard they will earn money.

Any y’all read what Lincoln Riley said today about their signings. First ,they signed nothing but transfers and don't plan on signing any HS kids from Class of 2021.

Don't get too excited. This school has lacked talent for awhile now. See what happens. We don’t need this.. we need experienced players. Lordy Lordy, we done lost all those upperclassmen . Not saying some needed to go but still need some experience in the locker room

Not sure the infatuation with the Mentor QB.And why we keep harping on a walk on.Enough said there . Shouldn’t we nab an experienced pro style QB.This recruiting stuff will go all the way thru summer because more young men will enter the portal. I told ya’ll the recruiting landscape is forever changed. Unless you are a 5 star ,you probably a PWO for 2021. Its terrible to say but it’s reality fellows.

Just lost a DL. Cross is in the portal. Im not upset about this boy. With his size he shoulda dominated. That didn't happen.

Or the young man did not live up to his potential or expected potential.

I have seen post after post stating if a player is good enough and has all the stars and hype etc they get the attn.Why is he only offered PWO at small schools.? Why is losing this young man such a concern? He obviously is not as good as his hype. If Im a QB out of HS, I would have no problem coming to Akron. I don't believe we have any elite QBs. I say it again ,work the transfer portal and get some players. The recruiting landscape for HS Sr’s this year is trashed. With no camps & no meetings, coaches are in the dark on these kids. Transfer’s have film etc and have gone thru the process.Therefore,are a better risk so to speak. I think the whole landscape is changing.

I truly hope you are right as I pull for all these young men.Time will tell.

I don't think this will happen but maybe Im wrong. Kipp didn't impress me that much.Have to see what happens.I don't put much into All State, All District etc because its too political. Again , maybe he proves me wrong.

Just my opinion but we need to try and grab a season QB even if for 2 yrs while the youngins learn.There are plenty in the transfer portal and also maybe we get some DBs as well. I see Mr Dominique Long is in the portal. Nice DB and the brother of ex zip ,Daryl.
