    If a young man wants Akron to recruit him. Who da heck and how da heck they supposed to contact someone.Sending film to whom? We can’t gets recruits if they don’t know who to talk to.

    There are a lot of young men that fall thru the cracks because I seriously believe that a lot of coaches are poor evaluators of talent.We should all know this to well.There are too many Johnnys & Joes. Too many kids whose daddies are coaches ex coaches or ex players. Perfect example UC football. Daddies boys are not playing but geez.

    If I remembers correctly this young man was a greyshirt. Who is in charge of evaluating talent? This cannot happen.

    Unfortunately,I think a lot of the young men will be entering the portal as they know the new regime will bring in their own players. The better players will want to go somewhere else for success.

    And Mumpfield was not a big part of Arth’s gameplan. Back to a post I made awhile back. Too much talent sitting on the sidelines. And someone tell me why 11 is not playing. 25 is not a threat but 11 is.We also need some DBs .. Horrible !

    Back to what I have been saying. We did and have not used the transfer portal. Mich St did use it and look what happened. Running to a JUCO and getting problem children aint the answer.

    No surprise these young men are decommitting. Think about it y’all would you stay committed to a school with no coach yet? How do you know if you fit into the scheme they will run. The coach will try to bring in his own recruits.
