Seems like they bring in all these young men and make three fourths of them watch and not participate at all. If they stay then they might possibly get a shot in year two. Not sure their thought process.

Zippyroo, your dead right. Seen that a lot as well. I question the talent scouts and their methods or lack there of evaluating talent.

Clark just remember most of those stars are hyped up. Seen plenty of 2.3 and 4 stars that should be no stars. In my lifetime I have seen it all.

I don’t get too excited about the JUCO young men because we have not brought one in yet that has dominated. As mentioned earlier, with the uncertainty of who will be the coach in the coming years, top talent won’t be knocking at our door anytime soon. -
All I know is there is some really good talent sitting in the transfer portal. So what if the young man will only give you 2 seasons of play. When your on the hot seat you try to pull wins anyway you can. What are we waiting for? Someone please tell me.

Your talking about a lot of potential on that sideline and you are correct. But, if you don’t play your potential you never know what you have. We all knew 11 can ball and that was shown and we knew certain lineman shouldn’t be playing and others should which was exposed. My point is you got em, play em. Figure out who can ball ,thats why you brought em here.

I see a young coach who has ties to the area for recruiting. He took Central Michigan from the bottom to top in his one year as OC,He is currently the QB coach for the Dolphins. I think he could work out,

Freeman is not coaching at UC. He is at Notre Dame and will most likely be their next HC. Charlie Frye would be best selection IMO.

Ain't no sarcasm here. I have heard from numerous people Owens politics are crazy. I heard he even had Charlie Frye on staff and didn’t let him do anything. Heard he was scared he might take his job.

Why you angry ? Owens ain’t any different. I heard the politics are ramped over at Ashland . They get more young men that leave that program in droves. Good players that don’t get any love.They ain’t winning.

What is sad is the lack of our use of the transfer portal. There are some good OL & DL players waiting to be picked up. Also RB’s.

Big Jim hung up on the number of stars in front of a young man. I can tell you I seen a lot of young men with all kinda stars doing nothing. Throw those damn things out the window. They do not define the heart n soul or the work ethic some young men put forth.

LZip, Im with you on this. Seems like some of the young men that balled out in the spring are none existent now. Does Arth just give up on these guys and try something else every 30 days?
