They’ve actually been a fast riser early in the season. But I’m sure they’ll settle in the low 300s

Iona beat Kansas City 105-91. They’re slowly creeping up the ranking up to 190 in kenpom.

Back to the game. We SHOULD win; we are the more talented and experienced team. This is our game to lose via turnovers, penalties, and special team blunders. If we play complimentary football like we have the last few weeks we should be good. But you never know unfortunately. Rivalry games are tight for a reason.

I meant Kent is 125. But yes we will see. Kent has a cake schedule outside of Purdue. I don’t seem them losing a game (without blowing one ofc) until January outside of Purdue

I had a feeling Kent was going to break out today. Up 36-15 already with 5 to go in the half. They are just booking it down the court and chucking up for 3s. I think that Troy game will be a lot like the Arkansas state one last year for us.

Massive matchup tonight with UNCW coming to Kent for a OOC matchup. UNCW is 120 in KenPom (Miami OH is 121 for comparison) and Kent is up to 136. Really wish we could get a team this high to come to the JAR yearly. (Outside of the SBC) but this years OOC seems like a step in the right direction at least

BGSU beats Le Moyne, WMU lost to Campbell. Ban all directionals

JMU looked a lot better today than against their exhibition on Wednesday. 14pt win against Coppin state. Still seem to need more work

Like I say every year this is a tune up game for the zips. Score 100, get every non redshirt in the game (really wish redshirts could play. Would make these a lot more interesting) and stay healthy. Nobody plays more than 25 mins and get ready for Purdue. Lots of upsets to lower divisions this opening week of CBB. Don’t be another statistic!

Tulane has beat Texas State after being down 20 at home. They went 30/30 on FTs. They should crack top 100 in KenPom after that. They were 107 before

Akron is now 73 in KenPom. Might be the highest I’ve ever seen them the 5 seasons I’ve been closely following the team

ESPN+ on phone and tv is great. On my iPad it’s actually the worst thing in the world. It’s so bloated it overheats my iPad and crashes during ad breaks. It’s a 2019 model. No other apps have any issues. And I’m a technical person I’ve tried reimaging the iPad and keeping my apps closed. Nothing. It’s so janky
