Zips SOS went 3-0 today. Murray state beat the worst time in D1 by a ton. Bucknell beat the last year 16 seeded Mount and Purdue beat Oakland… by only 10. Interesting one. But more good results!

The MAC went 4-0 today against Mid major or under competition. NIU is losing to wisconsin

Ohio beat Illinois St at home. Might not sound impressive Illinois St. was ranked 122 in KenPom so that gives them the highest ranked win of the year so far. Great win for the MAC

We’ve entered a new tier above the bottom tier. It’s progress man. I think we finally have the personnel to play the Moorhead offense he’s wanted to do for years. Just took a lot longer he or any of us expected. Let’s finish the season strong. Post season ban be damned the key for me this offseason is how we handle the QB position. Moorehead wanted a big QB in the portal and got Finley which imo outside of two slow starts has been great in Mac play. If he can develop Roggow or get another portal guy to continue the growth then he needs to be extended.

Unfortunately I don’t think the MAC-SBC is benefiting the women as the men.They went 5-8 on the road which is decent but the mac preseason favorite Kent got smoked by SBC favorite JMU by 32. Hopefully the home slate goes better but it feels like the gap is wider

(Format is record and Kenpom) We know the MAC did extremely well with a 9-4 day but our OOC did great also. They went 4-0 (other than JMU ofc) Zips jump up to 87 in KenPom also
