    I also enjoy this type of game because it gives younger players time to develop. I’d love to see the seniors resting around the 10 minute mark in the second. Let tavari and Nate run the offense with Evan Wilson and Lyle’s getting minutes

    Groce had a great interview on the post game show. Groce was talking about how great the atmosphere was today in the JAR and really had a great talk promoting this team. It’s his oldest team and he thinks it will be his best if they reach there potential

    I will say it does feel a bit deeper this year outside of the 3 Michigans and maybe Buffalo. Miami and Bowling Green look a tad better. Meanwhile you still have regulars in Akron, KSU, Ohio, Toledo, and Ball State. Maybe I’m just optimistic but it doesn’t feel like a 3 team race like last year

    I see it differently. The more Kent wins the more satisfying it is when we beat them. “The bigger they are the harder they fall” type. It’ll be a great look for the MAC if the top teams dominate in this challenge

    Ohio did make it out with the win but just like the post above they have some flaws. The heavy full court defense lead to nearly all of the starters having 4-5 fouls. With at least one getting fouled out. Curious to see how they develop
