    I don’t understand why people are so down on Tavari. He was a true freshman out there playing. You can’t compare him to LCJ when we first saw him. He had a year at Long Beach State (which stat wise was similar to Tavari this year) and he had to sit out a year, but practiced with the team and learned the system and culture). I’m not saying he will be LCJ, but don’t write him off.

    Dawson will be an upgrade over Hankerson, both Johnson’s should improve and hopefully we see late season Sammy most of next year. Lyles should develop to give more minutes. Just need some scoring from the portal and we are in Cleveland with a chance

    One problem comparing Freeman to any of these guys is the quality of opponents. The MAC as a whole is no where near as good as it was when those guys played. Zeek could dominate a game without scoring a point and Romeo, Big Dog and Tree could be unstoppable on offense. I hope Freeman can exceed what they did by leading us to a NCAA tournament win before he’s done.
