DO NOT BRING UP THE WEED. Those are memories I can live without. Excuse me while I let my blood pressure get back to normal. The season will be fine, today's opponent was not exact MAC caliber. And the POINT was that we have some freshman talent that is not quite ready for Prime Time, but WILL be. And with one exception, the same guys will be playing together next year, which is very positive.

They took Tree out of the offense and did a good job boxing out the boards. It was a good game plan. Besides that, they have a bunch of guys who can score big time. We got beat. The one good thing that comes out of it is that I think the only one we lose next year is Q, everyone else will be back and better than this year.

Now you know why they are #14.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings. But we are starting to look like toast.

This team is ranked #17 right now. We have to worry about everyone. If the refs let us play we can win. Our style requires us to be allowed to play.

Two different sets of announcers called Tree a "Man among boys" (to paraphrase). That is one heck of a compliment from sports professionals.

Cheatham is the secret weapon. If Pat AND Big Dog get into foul trouble we still have another guy who plays big and IS BIG.

I am just so happy that in the After Zeke year we can still play with the big boys. Not to get ahead of myself, but we could leave Hawaii with a 7 game win streak and victories over two undefeated teams including #17 That would be sweet.

Tree still has another year as a Zip. He is turning into a Marquee player. I am not sure he has the size or speed for the NBA, but he will make a good living playing ball if he chooses.

I refrained from saying that lest I be accused of being down on our players.

I have to admit, I am impressed with Deji. He has turned into a pretty solid player.

Can we get Obama to come to more of our games?

I have seen Kretzer flying around the bucket ALA Brian Walsh.

Evans had a VERY GOOD GAME and is starting to show why KD took him. I think he is going to be quite OK at PG. It just took a while to get acclimated to playing against bigger, faster, more athletic players than he was used to seeing. By the time we get to the MAC season I expect to see good things from him. Melo can play when we are up 30 with 10 seconds on the clock.

Punched a player. Interesting. Might be worth the price of admission to see him try that with Tree or Big Dog.

I apologize for giving that impression. His screen name coupled with his question reminded me of another person who ruffled some feathers with similar questions last year. I thought the player was very good, but Coach decides who plays, this is not the place to advocate against the Coach.
